Concierge
Ask the site, in plain English.
An instant, local assistant that knows every fact published here and nothing else. It matches tours to your group, quotes the published prices, tells you what runs in any month, what to wear, the age rules, the altitude, the shop, the lodge. When it does not know, it says so and hands you the phone.
Try
- Which tour is right for a family of five in February?
- What do I wear at 10,000 feet?
- What is good in Leadville in March?
- How much is a UTV tour for six people?
- Can my 12-year-old drive a snowmobile?
- Is Mosquito Pass open in June?
- Do you fix snowmobiles?
- How far is Leadville from Denver?
- Is there a warm option for grandparents?
- What is a snowbike?
Under the hood
No cloud AI. On purpose.
Sledville's rule is free, open code only, and nothing that bills per question. So the concierge is a retrieval assistant: the site's facts are compiled into kb.json, your question is matched against them with a small ranking index and a set of intent rules, and the answer is assembled from the matching facts with links to the pages they came from. It remembers what you tell it in the conversation (month, group, experience) and uses the same scoring matrix as the trip planner to rank tours.
What that buys you: instant answers, zero data collection, and no hallucinated prices. What it cannot do: chat about things that are not on this site. For those, call (970) 930-7027.
About the concierge
Is the concierge a real AI?
It is an instant local assistant, not a cloud chatbot. It understands plain-English questions about tours, prices, months, kids, gear, altitude, the shop and the lodge, and answers only from the facts published on this site. When it does not know something, it says so and gives you the phone number. Sledville deliberately uses no paid or proprietary AI service; the assistant is free, open code that runs on your device.
What can I ask the concierge?
Which tour fits your group, what runs in a given month, what things cost, what is included and what to bring, driver ages and kids, altitude, hours, directions, the repair shop, the lodge, reviews, and where to see photos and video. It also remembers what you tell it in the conversation (month, group, experience) and uses that to rank the tours.
Does the concierge store what I type?
No. It runs in your browser from a static knowledge file; nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored beyond the page you are on.
What if it cannot answer?
It will tell you it does not have that on the site and give you the phone number, (970) 930-7027, along with the closest pages. It never makes up a price, a date or a policy.
